View specificationsWalk-behind floor scrubbers are designed for routes where access, maneuverability and close operator control are more important than the maximum output of a larger ride-on machine.
Walk-behind machines suit small and medium cleaning zones, rack aisles, workshops, retail areas and facilities with frequent obstacles. Their compact dimensions also make storage, vehicle transport and movement between floors easier.
A walk-behind format can remain the better choice in a large building when the floor is divided into many short routes. The decision should follow the layout rather than total building area.
Record the narrowest aisle, door width, elevator capacity and turning area. Allow space for the squeegee, not only the scrub deck. Check whether guards, pallets or temporary stock reduce the usable route during normal operation.
The machine should clean close to edges without creating repeated manual work. At the same time, it must remain stable and manageable on the approved gradients in the facility.
Practical productivity includes turning, overlapping, refilling and draining. A slightly larger tank can reduce interruptions, but an oversized machine can lose time if it is difficult to maneuver. Match tank capacity to the route and available service points.
Confirm battery type, realistic runtime, charger voltage and charging location. Daily cleaning of tanks, brushes, filters and squeegee blades should fit the operator schedule.
Provide the floor type, area, aisle width, soil, operating hours, local voltage, destination country and quantity. Explain whether the machine will be used by an in-house team, cleaning contractor or distributor customer.
Ask the manufacturer to identify the included battery, charger, brush or pad holder, squeegee assembly, documentation and recommended spare parts. Final specifications should be confirmed against the exact quoted model.
